This piece was inspired by the birth of my son. Anticipating a natural, ecstatic, tantric birth, my body was filled with pools of radioactive material. When that bomb was diffused through an unplanned c-section, that explosive energy was redirected and transmuted into art. Primal release, ecstatic pain and pleasure, submission to the master hand of fate.

This piece was created with Quinacridone pigments with interference gold and red and "Vantablack" Black 3.0 Because of the nature of the paints used in this piece, it will change dramatically based on lighting and viewing angle.
